Pet owners currently juggle paper vaccination books, a phone gallery of photos, and guesswork about a rescue’s actual breed mix. PawID starts from the breed-identification piece because it carries the technical risk: if embedding-based retrieval cannot separate visually close breeds reliably, the product around it is not worth building. The POC exists to answer that question first.
